Our doulas are insured, covered by workers' compensation, and carefully screened to ensure your safety and peace of mind.
Each doula has passed a background check, is CPR and safety certified, and continues to learn through ongoing education.
We’re specially trained in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, we can gently check in on your emotional well-being and connect you with helpful resources if needed.

Elizabeth is a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, Infant Sleep Specialist, Core Lactation Consultant, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Safe Infant Care professional in Early Care and Education. She is also HIPAA compliant and holds current CPR certification. With over a decade of experience supporting families during the postpartum period, she is widely recognized for her ability to provide calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate care during the critical weeks and months following childbirth.
As a mother of three, Elizabeth brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. Her personal journey into motherhood deepened her understanding of the physical, emotional, and mental transitions families face after birth. Following the birth of her third child, she felt a clear calling to dedicate her career to postpartum and family support—a commitment that has guided her work ever since.
Elizabeth has extensive experience guiding families through newborn care, maternal recovery, infant sleep foundations, lactation support, and household adjustment. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices while remaining deeply responsive to each family’s unique needs, values, and goals.
In addition to her direct client work, Elizabeth plays a key role in shaping care standards, mentoring professionals, and supporting operational excellence within the organization. Her leadership ensures that families receive high-quality, consistent, and compassionate support while fostering a culture of professionalism, integrity, and trust.
Elizabeth believes that every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and empowered during the postpartum season. Her mission is to bring reassurance, structure, and calm into the home—allowing parents to rest, recover, and confidently step into their new role.
Cheriska Bayibansa is a compassionate postpartum doula and early childhood educationprofessional, serving as a Partner at Saidi Doula Services. She brings a strong academicfoundation, executive-level leadership experience, and a deep commitment to supportingfamilies, infants, and young children during the postpartum period. In addition to her client-facing work, Cheriska plays a key role at Saidi Doula Services in overseeing daily operations,care standards, and service delivery to ensure families receive consistent, high-quality support.She holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Liberal Arts, as well as aBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, providing her with a comprehensiveunderstanding of child development, communication, and family-centered care. Cheriska is aCertified Postpartum Doula through Cornerstone and maintains BLS certification, including CPRand AED, ensuring a high standard of safety, professionalism, and preparedness in her workwith families.Before becoming a Preschool Director, Cheriska worked as an early childhood educator,teaching and supporting young children in classroom settings and partnering closely withfamilies. She later served as a Preschool Director, where she led early childhood programs,supported teaching teams, and cultivated nurturing, developmentally appropriate learningenvironments. These combined teaching and leadership experiences strengthened heroperational insight, emotional intelligence, and ability to guide families with clarity andconfidence.As a postpartum doula at Saidi Doula Services, Cheriska provides comprehensive supportincluding hands-on newborn care, breastfeeding education and encouragement, postpartumrecovery support, emotional reassurance, and gentle guidance around sleep and daily routines.Her approach is calm, culturally responsive, and deeply respectful of each family’s values,traditions, and unique needs.Cheriska is passionate about empowering parents during one of the most transformativeseasons of life. She believes every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and confident as they heal, bond, and settle into life with their new baby.
